Tawana Resources, a ASX and JSE-listed Company, commenced producing lithium concentrate at its principal project, the Bald Hill Lithium and Tantalum Mine in March 2018.
Bald Hill is 50km south east of Kambalda in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia. Tawana and Singapore Exchange-listed Alliance Mineral Assets Limited each have a 50:50 ownership of the Project. The first shipment of lithium concentrate is scheduled for April 2018.
Tawana’s also has a 15% interest in Cowan Lithium Limited which owns the Cowan Lithium Project, adjacent to Bald Hill, the Yallari Lithium Project (also in Western Australia) and the Mofe Creek project, an iron ore project in Liberia, West Africa which has a Mineral Resource at 61.9Mt at 33% Fe.
